Start-up Capital

start-up capital financing

KFSE provides select businesses with start-up capital financing. Selection of these business ideas is through a competitive process. Priority is given to the participants who have completed the first-phase of trainings and may be experiencing challenges in scaling-up their businesses.

Participants with brilliant ideas but have not been successful in setting-up the businesses may also be considered. Such-participants must demonstrate prior efforts made to secure capital or convince that lack of capital has been the main impediment to their ability to implement their business idea.

The EDO will reach out to all training beneficiaries and conduct a site visit to track progress. Priority is given to female identifying LBTQ and GNC entrepreneurs. Seed capital amount normally ranges from Ksh. 20,000-100,000.
