Rallying call for our Work: Abolish poverty. Abolish marginalization.

In addition to Entrepreneurial trainings, Start-up capital provision, Business mentorship, Scholarship in tertiary institutions, KFSE also undertakes the following activities:

  1. Development of Business Canvas Models (BCM): KFSE staff working together with consultants continue to develop and update Business Canvas Models (BCMs) that reflect the real market dynamics of MSMEs business ventures like boda-bodas, or local grocery stores etc. The aim is to provide our beneficiaries with actual costs, risks, and earning patterns of different businesses. These canvases provide practical insights tailored to local market conditions; that way entrepreneurs avoid guesswork and make informed decisions.

  1. Passive Income generation pathways: Additionally, KFSE provides passive income generation pathways to help those in formal employment or non-entrepreneurs to build financial resilience. By offering practical, low-risk options tailored to their skills, time and capital constraints, KFSE empowers them to diversify income without jeopardizing their jobs. This approach aligns with KFSE’s mission to dismantle economic vulnerability sustainably.

  1. E2 Policy briefs, Reports & Research papers: KFSE also engages researchers and consultants in the development of E2 Policy Briefs, Reports, and Research Papers. The aim of these products is to influence public discourse and policymaking on economic empowerment with evidence-based insights. These outputs have positioned KFSE as a thought leader, who bridges grassroots realities with national and global decision-making arenas.

  1. Website for marketing beneficiary products & services: KFSE has developed—and continues to maintain—a product & services marketing website for its project beneficiaries. The aim of the platform is to help MSMEs reach wider audiences with their products and services. The website has proved to particularly effective in increasing visibility, opening up digital sales opportunities, and supporting sustainable business growth. In doing so, KFSE aims to expand the economic horizons of the project beneficiaries while reinforcing its role as a catalyst for economic empowerment.
