Business Skills Development

entrepreneurial trainings

KFSE offers business training to aspiring entrepreneurs to equips them with critical business skills in areas such as financial management, and marketing so as to reduce the risk of business failure and foster their long-term sustainability. The training and business skill capacity enhancement is divided into three cycles.

  1. The first cycle primarily focuses on foundational business skills. This is designed to be a beginner program facilitated by the entrepreneurship development officer (EDO), to equip participants with basic business concepts, using the training manual already in place.
  2. The second cycle focuses on supporting training participants to develop their business plans. The focus here is to help participants develop concrete and actionable business plans that are customized to meet the unique needs, opportunities, and challenges of chosen industries or sectors.
  3. The 3rd training cycle focuses Business Strategic Plans development. While this may not be needed by every entrepreneur, businesses that intend to benefit from our DCP program are required to provide a clear actionable strategic plan.
